Simply put, I'd like to know the best way currently to run Homebrew programs on the Wii. Either using the USB or SD Cards will be fine for me. I'm guessing that the Twilight Princess hack's been long fixed - especially in the EU releases.

I'd also like to know what you guys would recommend - especially in terms of a " DVD player channel" - I know someone who'd love to play DVDs on his Wii (He's too much of a penny pincher to pay £25 for a cheap DVD player, but just forked out £65 to play Wii Sports resort a couple of weeks back - go figure, lol)

for system menu up to 4.1 use banner bomb alpha 1
for system menu 4.2 use banner bomb alpha 2

if u have 4.2 u need hackmii installer v0.6
basically u place the banner bomb file on your sd card and u place the hackmii installer in the root of your sd card. U must rename the hackmii installer boot.dol.

then u place your sd card in the wii and go to memory managment and then go to channels then sd card and then the banner bomb will activate and ask u to boot boot.dol say yes
This will boot what ever boot.dol is

The hackmii installer will install the homebrew channel and dvdx and bootmii. the homebrew channel is a must for running homebrew dvdx is a must for watching dvds. boot mii is brick protection and it no needed. u can use boot mii to recover from a banner brick for example.

Once the homebrew channel is installed u can then place all your homebrew on your sd card under the apps folder

my file site has all the homebrew u cna ever dream of
I got emulators/games apps u name it i got it. i also have many custom channels

THe nes and snes emulators work perfectlly. there is a n6 4/emulator sega gen/mame/ps1/tg16 neo-geo. there is alot.

There are the backup launchers to boot burned games there are usb loaders that load games from usb hard drives and flash drives. backup loaders require custom ios though.
One of the good homebrew apps is called the homebrew browser it connects to teh internet and u can select homebrew to install and it will instlal it to your sd card.

my custom channels

Cheers for that. It saves me trying to puzzle out the Twilight Princess hack, lol.

On a side note, to the emulators allow use of the Gamecube pad, or do you need to use the Classic Controller?
