Lets talk about the great Star War movies here.

I still have the original Special Edition version of original Trilogy on VHS, which I watch every now and then. I really loved the original 3 movies.

I never got them on VHS (or Betamax), but years later, I did get the DVD Collector's editions (The ones with both the original and the remastered versions on 2 discs) of the original trilogy. More recently, I got the prequel trilogy boxset.

For me, there's something lacking in the newer 3 movies. Granted, graphically, they're stunning, but they seem to have lost some of the spirit and camaradarie that was present in the older ones.

ya, while i liked the movies, there was something missing from them that made the original 3 so great.

And i will prob never get the dvd versions that came out do to them being cheap and defying it with replacing Darth Vader ghost at the end with young adult anakin. That, and I think I heard they don't have the special effects that were added with the reimaging movies that came out in the 90s

That will only happen in the remastered edition. On the "original feature" disc for Return of the Jedi, you clearly see the old Darth Vader.

Remember - Always look both ways before crossing the road. If you don't, Darth Vader will jump out wearing a green & white Jumpsuit...

(If you're confused about that, check up on the Darth Vader actor's profile - not James Earl Jones - the voice, but the actual motion actor himself)

Since some people never got to experience the original Star Wars, it airs on TV (Spike I believe) and I got to experience the awesome experience of the first 3 Star Wars movie not too long ago.
Luke vs. Darth Vader was awesome.

Always nice to see fans of the films.

Anyone got the 6 live action movies? (Not the animated rubbish - not that the newer 3 movies could match the originals...)
