This is my character. He's a FOnewm.
Yes, he has a Psycho Wand, and it's very cool. However, that's not what I'm going to talk about. Can you see his mag? What, it's so blurry that you can't see it? I completely agree with you there. So, to help out those of you that can't see it, he's got a basic mag. So now you may be asking why would I use a basic mag. Do you think I'm going to tell you? No, I'm not.
No, I'm still not going to tell you.
I already said no.
Okay, I'll consider telling you why I'm using one.
Still Thinking.
Alright, now I'll tell you. The reason I'm using the Mag is that it's the only level 100 Mag I've got. I'm pretty sure you don't believe me. So, here's another blurry picture to prove it.
For those of you having difficulty reading it, the mag selected and equipped is name ใใฐ. For those of you that can't read Japanese, that's Magu, or Mag. And what's that over to the side? Despite it being blurry, you can make out that the mag is level 100.
So, now you probably want to know how I made the mag. You do, don't you? Alright, I'll tell you. I fed it grinders. This means that all of it's stats level up evenly. What's so important about that? It means that the mag NEVER fulfills any of the requirements for evolving, so it stays as a basic mag forever.
Okay, so now you're saying "I know I can get a Basic Mag to Level 100 without it evolving by making it never meet evolution requirements. But what good is it to have a 25/25/25/25 Mag with no PB and no Nature?" Well, here's how it's good. Say you're my friend, Eyce. You want a Hagal, and you also want it to have good power. The problem is that your Hagal needs to have Hit > Guard > Other stats, so it can't have power greater than either of those, and therefore can only end up having 33 power (34hit33guard33power), right? Wrong. Here's why. When your Mag reaches level 60, you can make it be 21hit20guard19power. This meets the requirements of it being a Hagal, so you have a Hagal. Next you give it a level in Guard. It's now 21hit21guard19power. Now you're probably saying "Why would I do that? I want my mag to have power, not guard". Here's why. From now on you increase your Mag's Power. It end up being 58power21hit21guard. It doesn't evolve ever again. Here's why it doesn't evolve. In order for the mag to evolve it has to have Power > Hit > Other Stats or Power > Guard > Other Stats. By making the Hit and Guard equal neither of those requirements are ever met. So now you have a Hagal with lots of Power. Pretty neat, huh? This can be used to make any Mag have stats it couldn't nomally have. Pretty cool, huh? I hope you all have fun breaking mags out of their usual limits.
If you want to post about this anywhere, please credit me and Eyce for finding it.
