I never really cared for them, cause most the games used to be just console games, but handheld, whereas the DS had more original games. However, it seems like they're branching out more now. My friend Ken(TFC bud), let me use his sisters before, and it was pretty fun. I love Final Fantasy:Crisis Core. I can't completely recommend it, but it's something to look more into for sure.

I have played it many times and I don't like it because if I wanted console games I'll just go play them. They are addicting however and if I start playing it I won't put it down for hours.

That's my main problem with it, but as I said, they are getting away from that more now than when it was made. The thing is, do you have another handheld system? Do you play games enough in general to get one?

The PSP is a great system if you want more of a multimedia device over a pure game system. Get yourself CFW and the PSP's options increase drastically.

Better off google'ing "PSP CFW" and see what pops up, since I don't know if I should explain it here. Basically lets you run homebrew programs on it. I was able to rip my PS1 and PSP games and play it on there, for example. The PSP games also load faster too, which is very nice on some games with stupid long load times. Other programs include a text reader, an alarm clock (never tried this), a better music player and various other junk others may enjoy.
You can also link to a PS3, though I never tried it myself. You can take certain games online and play with other people using the PS3 as a connector.

Well don't you need the older PSP's for that to work though?

Oh gosh, does that mean it's like the Wii homebrew thing. I never actually tried that since my Wii is updated, so it wouldn't work, or so I hear.
